Bright Winter Makeup Favorites

It’s no secret that I love all things makeup, skincare, and beauty and am a bonafide color geek. Give me a nerdy, all-encompassing, abstract system that connects and explains everything and I am a happy girl.

So give me the opportunity to talk about seasonal color analysis, Bright Winter makeup, and I will talk your ear off and probably have more than a few Bright Winter makeup recommendations for you. Since I tend to try everything and am constantly sharing my tried, tested, and true beauty favorites, I thought I would create a dynamic, ever-evolving list of my holy-grail Bright Winter makeup shades.

I was draped in 2014 and am a Bright Winter on the very cusp of Bright Spring and am a verified Zyla Tawny Spring, so I can go warmer and lighter than most BWs and play in the Bright Spring makeup playground regularly. My Zyla Tawny Spring palette is largely a fusion of the two seasons. So keep that in mind if you are on the cooler/darker side, as some of my favorites may be a bit warm and/or light for you. As always, try before you buy, because like all products what works for one person, may not work for another, even when they have been draped same season in the same system. 😘

Let’s be real for a minute. Nude lips, while a statement, are not a flattering choice for Bright Winters. Our best option for a quiet or natural lip look is my lips but better, which can be surprisingly colorful in the tube. But they look pretty, fresh, and natural on our faces, especially in a sheer and shiny finish!
